- What our people have to say
I’ve worked at many of the big teaching hospitals, and I think people recognise that ethos at HCA UK. It’s very high level, it’s complex at our sites, but it’s also supportive and people go out of their way to help each other. That’s what attracts the very best people to HCA UK, it’s why patients expect the best in terms of care.
Claire Painter
Chief Nursing Officer
There’s this great diversity and mix of people at HCA UK. In terms of where we're from and how many years we’ve been nursing, we each carry a lot of experience, a lot of skills from different areas, and collectively we all offer each other support, we all learn from each other, and we grow. Being able to make those deep connections, that’s what makes working at HCA UK so special.

Staff Nurse
International Nurses Day is something we take seriously at HCA UK. Like when we each brought in a different dish to represent our national cuisine - that was really nice. It shows the multiculturalism that’s at the heart of HCA UK. It also highlights that everyone here is always willing to learn from each other.
