Role Overview
As Senior Manager, Technical Documentation, you will lead the documentation operating model for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure data center operations, ensuring critical procedures, standards, playbooks, knowledge articles, and turnover documentation are accurate, controlled, field-usable, and aligned to operational risk requirements. This role is responsible for building and managing the systems, governance, and team capability required to keep operational documentation current across a rapidly scaling data center portfolio.
You will serve as a senior people leader within Central Data Center Operations, partnering with Facilities Operations, Site Readiness, Site Deployment, Commissioning, Engineering, Reliability, Safety, Security, Compliance, Training, and vendor teams to create documentation that supports safe execution, consistent operations, incident readiness, maintenance quality, and clean operational handoff.
This is not a general writing role. It is an operational documentation leadership role responsible for translating complex technical processes into controlled, repeatable, and auditable content that enables data center teams to execute safely and consistently at hyperscale.
