Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Standing and walking throughout the day
- Linen Clerk Duties also assigned
- Answering phones in a courteous, professional manner
- Computer knowledge
- Printing daily reports
- Opening and closing Royal Service Tickets (guest requests and needs)
- Dispatching the queue rooms, changing room statuses, placing rooms out of order
- Update White Board Numbers
- Verify Out of Services
- Create Task Sheets
- Verify Overnight Laundry is Delivered
- Send Show-Room Email
- Prepare Fairmont Fits
- Prepare Schedule for the Following Day
- Constantly update the Housekeeping Call Log
- Schedule reviews
- Updates changes to schedule as necessary based on business needs
- Daily preparation of room attendant boards
- 35.03 per hour
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience is an asset
- Opera knowledge and experience is required
- Physical Aspects of Position:
- Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
