Job Description
General Manager
Be an ambassador of the Novotel brand and Novotel Bishkek City Center as General Manager, where your leadership, strong interpersonal skills and strategic vision will drive an engaged team, exceptional guest satisfaction and strong operating results.
You will bring your commercial and business acumen, leadership skills and determination to drive the hotel's performance, exceed business targets and strengthen the position of Novotel Bishkek City Center in the local and international hospitality market.

You will be responsible for:
Leading the business
Lead the overall management and strategic direction of the property and support all departments in achieving operational, commercial and financial targets.
Develop and implement the hotel's business strategy, annual budget and business plans in collaboration with the ownership and relevant Accor stakeholders.
Maximize the hotel's profitability through effective revenue generation, cost management and financial control.
Drive the hotel's commercial performance, including revenue, market share, sales, marketing and business development.
Monitor market trends, competitor performance and business opportunities to strengthen the hotel's market positioning.
Ensure full compliance with operating controls, applicable legislation, company policies and the requirements of the franchise agreement.
Maintain a strong and effective relationship with the hotel ownership and Accor representatives.
Building your team
Actively participate in the recruitment and selection of key positions within the property to attract and retain the best talent.
Lead, motivate and develop the hotel's leadership team and create a high-performance culture.
Champion employee engagement and promote a collaborative, inclusive and respectful environment where colleagues are encouraged to contribute ideas and take ownership.
Identify and develop local talent through coaching, mentoring, training and succession planning.
Build strong relationships with the local community and represent the hotel as an ambassador of international hospitality.
Driving service culture
Maintain high product and service quality standards to consistently exceed guest expectations.
Promote the Novotel brand and ensure that all applicable brand essentials and standards are implemented and consistently executed.
Lead initiatives to improve guest satisfaction, loyalty and overall guest experience.
Ensure that the hotel delivers a consistent and authentic Novotel experience while responding to the needs of the local market.
Foster a strong Heartist® culture where every colleague understands their role in creating memorable experiences for guests.
Driving operational excellence
Ensure efficient and consistent operation of all hotel departments.
Monitor operational KPIs and take timely corrective action to improve performance.
Ensure high standards of health, safety, security, hygiene and risk management throughout the property.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation across hotel operations.
Promote responsible hospitality and support sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
Representing the hotel
Act as the key ambassador of Novotel Bishkek City Center with guests, owners, business partners, government authorities, local organizations and the wider hospitality community.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate, governmental, tourism and industry stakeholders.
Position Novotel Bishkek City Center as a leading international hospitality destination in Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Previous experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a General Manager, Hotel Manager or Deputy General Manager within an international hotel brand, ideally in the midscale or upscale segment.
Proven experience in hotel operations, commercial strategy and financial management, with a strong understanding of the key drivers of hotel profitability and performance.
Strong business acumen and a demonstrated track record of achieving commercial targets, financial objectives and operational KPIs.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop diverse teams.
Passionate about people development, with a genuine commitment to growing and empowering yourself and others.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish effective relationships with owners, franchise partners, guests, colleagues and local stakeholders.
Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems and translate strategy into measurable results.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to represent the hotel and the Novotel brand at a senior level.
Guest-focused mindset with a passion for delivering consistent, high-quality experiences.
Strong knowledge of hotel operations, financial controls, revenue generation and commercial performance.
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment.
