Senior Associate, Assurance Business Marketing & Sustainability Brand, Marketing and Communications
Opportunity
EY Global Delivery Services (EY GDS) is seeking an experienced Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) professional to join the Growth Marketing Hub.
This role supports two strategic portfolios within EY GDS: Assurance Business Marketing and Sustainability. The successful candidate will serve as a key BMC advisor and business partner, helping to translate business priorities into integrated marketing, communications, stakeholder engagement and visibility initiatives.
Working closely with Assurance and Sustainability leadership teams, the role will support the development and execution of strategic marketing and communications programs that strengthen market positioning, enhance stakeholder engagement, drive awareness of priorities and capabilities, and amplify the impact of key business initiatives. In collaboration with GDS BMC hubs and Centers of Excellence (COEs), the individual will coordinate client-facing campaigns, leadership communications, internal and external campaigns activations supporting business growth initiatives.
The role requires strong account management capabilities, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, content development and project coordination skills, combined with the ability to navigate a complex global organization and influence multiple stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Strategic stakeholder management
- Serves as a strategic BMC advisor and primary point of contact for both Assurance Business Marketing and Sustainability stakeholders within EY GDS.
- Partners with business leaders to translate strategic priorities, growth objectives and market opportunities into integrated BMC plans.
- Supports the development of value propositions, positioning, messaging frameworks aligned to the business priorities.
- Builds strong relationships across business and BMC functions to drive alignment and integrated execution.
- Coordinates with global, area and GDS BMC teams to deliver consistent, impactful and measurable marketing and communications activities.
Assurance business marketing
- Supports planning and execution of strategic marketing initiatives that enhance visibility of EY GDS Assurance services, priorities, campaigns and solutions.
- Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for thought leadership, client-focused content, market activation and business engagement.
- Supports integrated campaigns, events, leadership engagements and strategic communications initiatives.
- Contributes to storytelling that showcases Assurance capabilities, innovation, expertise and business impact.
- Tracks and analyzes campaign performance and stakeholder engagement to inform future activities.
Sustainability Marketing and Communications
- Supports communications and marketing programs that increase awareness of EY GDS Sustainability initiatives, achievements and commitments.
- Coordinates development and activation of sustainability campaigns, thought leadership, employee engagement and leadership visibility initiatives.
- Helps maintain consistent sustainability messaging aligned with the broader EY sustainability narrative.
- Supports sustainability-related events, stakeholder engagement activities and executive communications.
- Identifies opportunities to strengthen awareness, engagement and visibility across internal and external channels.
Executive communications
- Develops executive presentations, leadership messaging, communication plans and strategic content for senior stakeholders within EY GDS Assurance and Sustainability.
- Cooperates with GDS BMC hubs and CEOs to supports leadership visibility in external communications channels: modern and traditional media, events, thought leadership etc.
- Creates compelling narratives that connect business objectives, sustainability priorities and organizational impact.
- Ensures consistency of messaging across stakeholder audiences and communication channels.
Governance and Operational Excellence
- Ensures adherence to EY brand, communication, risk management and governance standards.
- Manages project plans, stakeholder coordination, budgets and external vendors where required.
- Monitors performance metrics, reporting and effectiveness of BMC initiatives.
- Identifies opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and collaboration across teams.
- Supports annual planning, budgeting and prioritization activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Journalism or a related field.
- 7-10+ years of experience in brand, marketing, communications, business engagement with a focus on go-to-market, ABM, B2B marketing.
- Experience supporting professional services and sustainability.
- Strong account management and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including executive-level content development.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience working with data-driven integrated marketing campaigns, leads generation, digital ma leadership communications, thought leadership and employee engagement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration platforms; familiarity with marketing technologies and reporting tools is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively across cultures, functions and time zones in a highly matrixed environment.
