I. Job Summary
The GE Operations Intern will be an integral part of PTG HGP operations team, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our business processes. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and innovative environment, working alongside industry professionals on critical projects that support the operational goals of the Company.
II. Essential Functions, responsibilities
- Assist in the analysis and improvement of operational workflows to enhance SQDCP aspects of the Company.
- Initiate any basic improvement projects and execute by collaborating with other departments.
- Support the team in various data collection and reporting, providing insights for decision-making process.
- Collaborate positively with other operators, supervisors, engineers, and other staff on daily basis.
- Adhere to all EHS procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Raise any concerns and/or stop works if observing any unsafe condition or quality risks during daily job.
- Participate in GE Lean Action Work Out (AWO) event.
III. Qualifications requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related majors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
- Having organizational experiences is a desired qualification.
- Familiarity with various engineering design software is a plus.
- Ability to communicate in English (speaking, listening, and writing).
- Must be able to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 6 months at PT. Gas Turbin Center Indonesia- Bandung.
