About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic leader to drive Bureau Veritas’ Data Center strategy and growth across South East Asia. The SEA Data Center - Sales & Marketing will combine market development, client engagement, and technical oversight to position BV as the trusted partner for data center owners, operators, investors, and hyperscalers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the SEA Data Center market strategy aligned with BV’s global priorities.
- Identify high-potential markets and new service opportunities across hyperscaler, colocater, and enterprise data centers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and decision makers in the data center ecosystem.
- Lead pursuit of strategic projects from lead generation to contract negotiation.
- Provide subject matter expertise in data center design, construction, commissioning, and operational compliance.
- Ensure excellence in service delivery through coordination with BV’s technical and operational teams.
- Collaborate with BV leaders across the region to ensure a consistent market approach.
- Represent APA in global initiatives, knowledge sharing, and solution development.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Electrical/Mechanical, or related disciplines; Master’s or MBA preferred.
- 10–15 years of experience in the Data Center sector, with at least 5–10 years in leadership or business development roles.
- Proven success in delivering and securing large-scale Data Center projects in SEA.
- Strong industry network with hyperscalers, colocaters, and enterprise DC stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, PMP, LEED, Uptime Institute) are an advantage.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and client relationship management skills.
- Fluent in English and excellent in communication, presentation, and cross-cultural collaboration abilities.
- Willing to travel extensively across SEA
