About the Department:
The Data Engineering team builds and operates enterprise data platforms that power analytics, business insights, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions across the organization. Team members include data engineers, analysts, data scientists, and business partners who work together to deliver scalable, governed, and trusted data products. The team drives innovation through cloud-native technologies, self-service analytics, and advanced data platforms. How You Will Add Value?
Core Responsibilities:
Build scalable extract, transform, and load (ETL) data pipelines.
Develop batch and streaming data ingestion solutions.
Implement modern Lakehouse storage frameworks.
Optimize large-scale data transformations.
Design dimensional and relational data models.
Improve platform performance and storage efficiency.
Manage and support ingestion workflows.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Implement data quality and governance controls.
- Enable enterprise data lineage capabilities.
- Manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Integrate AI-enabled development tools into workflows.
- Automate development and testing activities.
- Create and refine prompts for AI solutions.
- Optimize query performance using AI-assisted analysis.
Team & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
- Partner with analytics teams and data scientists.
- Document solutions and technical architectures.
- Deliver scalable solutions for evolving business needs.
- Support innovation through modern engineering practices.
What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role?
Experience, Education & Certifications:
8+ years of data engineering experience.
Experience building enterprise-scale data platforms.
Expertise in batch and near real-time data processing.
Experience with modern Lakehouse architectures.
Experience with DevOps and deployment automation.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Technical Skills:
Expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platforms.
Experience with Snowflake, Apache Iceberg, and Delta Lake.
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and PySpark.
Experience with Apache Airflow orchestration.
Knowledge of Apache Kafka and Amazon Kinesis.
Experience with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and observability tools.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
