Altera Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Sales Account Manager with a proven track record of supporting sales at major OEMs in the Los Angeles, CA area. This role requires a strategic, results-driven professional who can manage high-value accounts, develop long-term relationships, and drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have both business and technical acumen and have strong experience in sales account management selling highly technical,

semiconductor solutions, and a deep understanding of Tier 1 and major customers.

* Must reside in Southern California in the Los Angeles area for proximity to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow strategic relationships with customers.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, understanding their business needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business solutions, product marketing, and engineering to support account growth.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis for senior leadership.

The compensation below is reflective of a sales role that includes a salary + incentive. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor within the US market. Actual compensation may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc.

$199.6K - $288.9K USD

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

Strong experience in sales account management or related roles.
Proven success supporting customers with complex sales cycles.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives.
Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or higher, MBA desired (but not required)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in selling highly specialized semiconductor solutions (FPGA's, ASIC's etc.)
Established network within customer organizations.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms.
